Monday, November 11 through Saturday, November 30 Washington State Birthday!  (Association Dates) We are grateful to all US Veterans and remember them with respect.  November 11th is also significant to the Pioneer Association --- it was the day in 1889 that Washington State was admitted to the United States.  Shown here is one of two 42-star US flags that we hold in our Pioneer Hall collection.  These flags were discontinued by July 3, 1890 when Idaho became the 43rd state.  We are proud to keep them!
